Terms of Service

These are the terms for using Cimarron Ag's website, apps, and water-level monitoring service. By creating an account or using the service, you're agreeing to them.

Who we are

Cimarron Ag, based in Ridgway, Colorado. Questions about these terms: info@cimarron.ag.

The service

We provide water-level sensors for irrigation ditches and flumes, and an app that shows depth and flow and sends alerts you configure. We're currently in a field-pilot phase; the specifics of each pilot deployment are set out in that pilot's agreement.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your account. You need to be at least 18 to use the service.

Alerts are a tool, not a guarantee

Readings and alerts depend on things nobody fully controls: cellular and satellite coverage, weather, battery condition, and the state of your ditch and flume. Messages can be delayed or occasionally missed. Don't rely on the service as your only way of managing your water, meeting legal obligations, or protecting people or property — keep doing what a careful operator would do without it.

Your data

Readings from your sensors belong to your account. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.

Fees

Pilot pricing is set in your pilot agreement. When online ordering opens, prices will be shown before you buy.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no breaking into it, no interfering with other users' devices or data, and no reselling it without our written okay.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under the law that applies to you.

Ending things

You can close your account at any time by writing to us. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.
